COURIER PLANES

GERMAN-SWEDISH AGREEMENT.

LONDON, August 15. The Swedish Foreign Office announced that Germany and Sweden had agreed that German courier planes flying over Sweden to Norway and Finland in future will be civil machines, manned by civilians and not by military personnel. The planes must carry flags painted on their wings for .identification. They are forbidden to carry bombs or guns. The agreement was reached following on landings of courier planes manned by military personnel.
