RESTORATION WORK

AT WAIRARAPA COLLEGE. EARLY-COMPLETION URGED. In his report to the Wairarapa College Board of Governors last night t e Acting-Principal of Wairarapa College, Mr F. J. Gair, requested that everything possible should be done to have the earthquake damage restoration work completed immediately. Mr W. R. Nicol said the work should have priority over business jobs. If the work could not be finished immediately he said he would sooner see part of the corridors left unfinished. Both the staff and pupils had been hampered by the terrible noise involved in the work. It was most important that students should be able to make a fresh start at the beginning of the next term. The matter was left in the hands of Mr F. C: Daniell.
