OBITUARY

MR J. A. PAIN.

The death occurred at Mauriceville West this morning of Mi’ John Augustus Pain, of Masterton, at the age of 68 years. The late Mr Pain, who had been in ill-health lately, had lived all his life in the district. He was born in Masterton and was farming at Miki Miki for many years. For the past ten or so years he had lived in Masterton. Mr Pain was 1 a single man and is survived by three brothers, Messrs W. (Napier), G. (Kaituna), and E. Pain (Whakataki). The funeral will leave the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service Ltd. on Monday. following a service at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery. MRS J. COCKBURN. "The death occurred in the Masterton Hospital this morning of Mrs Isabella Cockburn, wife of Mr John Cockburn, of 56 Perry Street. Masterton. The late Mrs Cockburn, who was 55 years of age- had lived in Masterton for the past 30 years. She is survived by her husband and family of four daughters and two sons. j The funeral will take place on Monday, leaving the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service Ltd., following a service at 3 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
