C.J.C. MEETING. For the second day of the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Grand National meeting tomorrow, splendid fields are on the card. Horses likely to meet with public favour include: —
Hunt Cup; Valens, True Range, Lo Boca. Summer Handicap: Hunting Charm, Tring, Big Top. , _ Lincoln Steeplechase: Noko-Anglo-French bracket, Dozie Boy. Woolston Handicap: Pallid, Desert Strife, Justitia.
Grand National Hurdles: Town Survey, Kanui Te Pai, Native Chief., Spreydon Hurdles: Moderate, Heidelberg, Knight Commander. Islington Handicap: Platform, Amorlad, Night Pal. August Handicap: Poutatau, Foxhaven, Black Robe.
A. Jenkins, who was unable on account of sickness to ride on the first day of the Grand National meeting, will be back in the caddie tomorrow, when two of his mounts will be Hyderabad in the Lincoln Steeplechase and Talenta in the Grand National Hurdles. Jenkins won the 1931 Grand National Hurdles on Callamart.
