WHEAT VERY MUCH BELOW REQUIREMENTS. DRASTIC REDUCTION IN RATIONS EXPECTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. August 12. The German Ministry of Agriculture has reported that because of a bad harvest only 9,000,000 tons of wheat will be available for public consumption, instead of the 11,000,000 tons required, Reporting this the “Daily Express” correspondent in Stockholm says that a drastic reduction in food rations is expected.
