ANNIVERSARY OF OUTBREAK OF WAR. RESPONSE TO THE KING'S CALL. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) RUGBY, August 11. In accordance with the desire of his Majesty the King that September 3, being the fourth anniversary of the outbreak of war, shall again be observed as a national day of prayer and dedication, arrangements are being made to enable the national response to be as widespread as possible. The leaders of the churches are arranging special services in churches throughout the country. The Government desires work to cease, as far as is practicable, between 11 a.m. and 11.15 a.m., when a religious service will be broadcast.
