NOON CONFERENCE

President Roosevelt has summoned the Pacific War Council 'to a noon meeting at the White House (a Washington message states), apparently to discuss recent and forthcoming events in the Pacific, which are expected to loom large among the strategic subjects to be discussed at the Churchill-Roosevelt conferences. Roosevelt also scheduled meetings with M.M. Loudon and Vendenbroek, the Netherlands Ambassador and Financial Minisfer.
