The stake for the Auckland Cup this year has been fixed at £4250. and the Railway Handicap at £l5OO. .. In connection with the Auckland Cup it has been decided that only winners of a race or races exceeding the collective value of £5OO to the winner after the declaration of weight shall be subject to rehandicap.
