MASTERTON ROLL

10,699 NAMES ON MAIN . LIST. COPIES NOW AVAILABLE. The main roll for the Masterton electorate contains 10,699 names. In 1941 there were 10,498 names on the main roll and in 1938, 10,286. The printing of the roll has now been completed and copies were made available today. *

Enrolments on ■ the supplementary’ roll are now being received. A fair number have already been made. Electors are reminded that enrolment is compulsory and that the supplementary roll closes on'August 30. At the 1938 general election, there were 11,848 names on the general and supplementary rolls. The indications are that this number will be exceeded this year when the supplementary roll closes at the end of the month.
