DOING A GRAND JOB
No group of civilians is doing a finer wartime service than the automobile dealers. Nor has any branch of business made greater wartime sacrifices. This is truly a war on wheels. The men of the Army Mobile Workshops and other maintenance units who keep the vehicles of our mechanised army in perfect fighting trim—they have come from the workshops of automobile deal-* ers and hundreds of garages throughout New Zealand. But transportation is as vital to the war effort on the home front as it is to our armies in the battle areas. Today with greatly depleted staffs, motor dealers are doing a splendid job of keeping New Zealand's essential transport functioning efficiently. The New Zealand Ford 'organisation is extremely proud of the record of Ford Dealers in these critical times, doing good work under a severe handicap, building soundly for the better days that are sure to come.
Today, Ford in New Zealand, throughout the Empire and in U.S.A., has only one job—producing for Victory! Ford Dealers have only one job —Service for Victory! Both jobs are going well. —P.B.A. 3
