PRICES AT NIREAHA. The New Zealand Lean and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having held a most successful clearing sale on account of Mr E. W. Whiteman, of Nireaha. The cows came forward in exceptionally good condition and in spite of there being no records available, sold particularly well for the herd to average £lO. The springing heifers averaged £lO ss. The following were the main prices:— Springing cows, £ll. £l2 10s, £l3 to £l4; 1 later calvers. £O, £lO to £11; cows in milk, £5 10s, £7 to £9; springing heifers, £9 10s, £lO. £lO 15s to £ll 15s; yearling heifers, £4 7s 6d; ' yearling Ayrshire bull, £4 10s. Anderson engine. £lB 10s; saw bench, £10; aged horses £lO to £l3.
