CHANGE OF FRONT
ATTEMPTED IN HUNGARY. MOST UNCONVINCING CLAIMS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, August 1. The collapse of the Italian Fascists has caused the Hungarian Government to change its political views completely, says a report reaching Zurich from Budapest. The Government is now claiming that Hungary never shared the Germans’ ideological views, not even their hatred of Russia. It now represents Hungary as fighting a “defensive war” against Russia.
