CONTINUING TOLL
OF JAPANESE SHIPS TEN SUNK BY AMERICAN SUBMARINES. FOUR OTHERS DAMAGED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) WASHINGTON, July 30. A Navy communique announced that American submarines have reported the following results of operations against the enemy in the Pacific and Far East: Two large transports two large cargo vessels, three mediumsized cargo vessels, two medium-sized tankers and one small cargo vessel, all sunk; one large cargo vessel and three medium-sized cargo vessels damaged.
