Mr Churchill saw eral Freyberg knighted at Buckoham Palace, where the general spfcnt some time chatting with the King and Mr Churchill, During his five days’ stay in London General Freyberg has gained a muchneeded rest. He dined with Mr Churchhill, renewing his personal friendship and also had discussions with General Sir Alan Brooke and other high-rank-ing officers. He told guests at a party how much he had enjoyed his visit to New Zealand, where he laughingly estimated he shook hands with everyone in the Dominion. He was fit and well when he left London, and was very anxious to be back with the New Zealand Division.
