MEAT BOARD ELECTION
VOTING PAPERS DISTRIBUTED.
MANY ALREADY RETURNED.
The voting papers for the election of two district delegates on the Electoral College of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board have now been distributed to Wairarapa sheep farmers. Much more than the usual amount of interest is being taken in the election of the delegates this year, as for the first time for many years, there are three candidates for the two vacancies to be filled. The two Wairarapa nominees are Messrs W. A. lorns and A. McDonald, the third candidate being a resident of Levin.
Although the voting papers do not have to be returned until about the middle of August, a considerable number have already been sent in. Farmers will be well advised to make a point of returning their voting papers at the first opportunity and thus avoid the possibility of forgetting to exercise their voting' rights.
