SOLDIERS’ COMFORTS ENJOYABLE CARD PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Borough Ladies’ Soldiers’ Comforts Committee held its monthly flag 500 party in the Anglican Hall on Saturday evening. There was a good attendance and a most enjoyable time was spent. The games were conducted by Mrs D. Olivant. The prize-winners in the games were:—Ladies: Mesdames G. Murray Aynsley and Mrs W. Hooper. Men: Signalman K. Fauvel and Mr D. Scott. The hostesses were Mesdames Handyside and Scott. Personal Items. Mrs and Miss Brittain, Central Road, have been on a visit to Wellington. Miss Nancy Greathead, Wellington, is staying with her father. Miss Alison Simmers, Wellington, is the guest of Dr. and Mrs Simmers, Bengston Street. Mr W. Cittadine, Alfredton Road, is on a visit to Auckland. Mr Bruce Leslie, Auckland, and Miss Olive Leslie, Wellington, are the guests of Mr and Mrs G. Leslie, Hastwell Street. Mr Maurice Carter, Feilding, spent the weekend with his mother.
