TO CONTEST WELLINGTON SEAT. WELLINGTON, This Day. Delegates at a meeting last night by ballot selected Mr W. A. Veitch to contest the Wellington Suburbs seat in the National Party interest. Mr Veitch was member for Wanganui from 1911 to 1935, and held portfolios from 1928 to 1931, including Labour and Railways, resigning to facilitate the formation of the National Government.
