SEED POTATOES
PRICES FIXED FOR SEASON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A price order issued by the Price Tribunal today fixes prices for South Island grown seed potatoes for the whole season. The order divides the seed into three classes, with prices ranging from £ll to £l3 per ton for certified mother seed down to £8 15s a ton for uncertified seed. Prices for small lots of any variety, grown anyw’here in New Zealand, whether certified or not, are based on 4d a pound, with reductions for larger parcels up to 1681b5., when the price is 2.|d per lb.
