RAID ON CEYLON
REPORTED BY JAPANESE SINGAPORE DOCK REFLOATED. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.25 a.m.) WASHINGTON, July 21. The Tokio official radio announced that Japanese naval planes raided Ceylon and bombed Colombo and Trincomalee on Sunday night. The radio also stated that Japanese engineers had successfully refloated the King George V Dock at Singapore.
