WAR TIME WORKS

BEARING ON DEVELOPMENT IN DAYS TO COME AIR BASES IN NEW ZEALAND. WILL SERVE FUTURE CIVIL TRANSPORT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.48 a.m.) RUGBY, July 21. Mr Attlee instanced air bases built in New Zealand, which would be of the greatest use for civil transport. As air lines were established across the Pacific, New Zealand would occupy an increasingly important place as a main station on a great traffic route.
