SERVICE CLUB EUCHRE PARTY. An enjoyable time was spent at the Service Club’s euchre party on Tuesday night, there being a good attendance. Mr Habib won first prize and Mrs Habib second prize. Miss J. Kiddie won a competition held. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs Jones, Christchurch, are the guests of Mrs Charles, Hayward Street. Miss N. Piper, Paekakariki, and Miss J. Price, Wellington, have returned home after having been the guest of Miss Sue Piper.
COSY THEATRE TWO BIG FEATURES. There will be a two-feature programme tomorrow night. “A Night in New Orleans” is a thrilling mystery drama in which the chief roles are taken by Preston Foster and Patricia Morrison. Buck Jones and Pat McCoy portray the principal characters in the exciting western drama, “Arizona Bound.”
