MOVE TO REMOVE LETTING RESTRICTION. NOTICE OF RESCINDING MOTION. Notice that he would move at the next meeting a motion rescinding a motion previously passed by the Wairarapa College Board of Governors which prevented the letting of the assembly hall to organisations outside the college was given by Mr W. R. Nicol at last night’s meeting of the College Board. An application was received from the Red Cross Society for the use of the hall on September 18 when it was proposed to assemble all country school members of the Junior Red Cross. An educational session would be held in the morning and a concert in the afternoon. The hall would be required from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In view of the motion at present on the board’s books it was decided to defer consideration of the application until the next meeting of the board.
