Another dance will be held at the Red Cross Club, Masterton, tomorrow night, with colours and music reminding the service men of south of the border land where rhumbas and congas are the hits of the day. The American Club greatly appreciated the efforts of local people and marines for their work preparing designs, offering costumes, spotlights and contributing to the entertainment programme. They include Mr Sydney Smith, who painted designs, Mr Hugo, the costumes, the Regent Theatre, the spotlights, Miss Waireka Nini, for her songs and Bruce McHattie and Miss Nola Benbow, for their rhumba number. The dance will be from 8 until 11.30 tomorrow evening and the girls may weai’ either afternoon or evening dresses.
