School Strike Ended.

The children of Bennydale, numbering over 60, who have been on strike and have not attended the school at Mangapehi for three weeks, have returned to the school, following on a report made by a member of the Mangapehi school committee to a public meeting. Several trees have been felled by a working bee, with the result that. the sun now reaches part of the grounds. Central heating facilities have yet to be extended, and the playground still has to be metalled.
