EXPRESSION OF CONFIDENCE. At a meeting of supporters of the Labour Party held in Masterton this week the following resolution was passed:— “That this meeting of friends and supporters of the Labour movement reaffirms its complete confidence in Mr J. Robertson as Labour representative. This branch fully recognises the good work done by Mr Robertson in the past eight years of Labour Government. We therefore pledge ourselves to work and give the greatest assistance possible to the Labour Party to ensure its return as a government at the forthcoming election. We call on all members and supporters to do all in their power to assure Labour success for Master ton.”
