GOEBBELS SORE

ALMOST CAUGHT IN COLOGNE.

BY ROYAL AIR FORCE BOMBERS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 9. Enemy raiders who were over the Greater London area in daylight this evening were probably carrying out what Goebbels calls “German retaliation for R.A.F. bombing.” It is probable that Goebbels was feeling a bit sore, because he was in Cologne only a few hours before our raiders were over the city. The German radio, reporting his visit to the city, did not say whether he stayed for the night.
