INDOOR BOWLS
Air Force members will be present at the Masterton Indoor Bowling Club’s rinks on Tuesday night to compete against local players. The Air Force players are showing keen interest in the game, particularly C. Judd and W. Duff, who are fast becoming good players. It is hoped to arrange a match between the Air Force and various local teams. On Tuesday night play will commence at 7 o’clock. The rinks games to be played by the Masterton Club on Thursday are as follow:—7 p.m., No. 1: O’Connor, Stears, Roff, Pickering (s) v. J. Edwards, Rossitter, Hearps, Hendry (s); No. 2, Cliff, Onion, F. Mooney, Henson (s) v. Palmer, McErlich, Freeman, E. Mooney. 8.30 p.m'.: No. 1, Cliff,, Onion, F. Mooney, Henson (s) v. O’Connor, Stears, Roff, Pickering (s); No. 2, J. Edwards, Rossitter, Hearps, Hendry (s) v. Lennie, Morgan, Knowles, Dewar (s). As the full teams will not be again published, players should note their respective skips.
