93 WAIRARAPA MEN
RETURNING TOMORROW MORNING. ARRIVAL BY TRAIN. The Wairarapa men of the party returned from overseas will arrive tomorrow by the morning mail train from Wellington. Ninetythree men are returning to this district. Arrangements have been made by the Army authorities for a sufficient number of Red Cross cars to be in readiness at the various district railway stations to take the men to their destinations, if desired. An Army representative will be in attendance at each station to ensure that this arrangement is carried , out. The mayors, town clerks, county' council chairmen and other representatives of local bodies and of the R.S.A. will meet the men on their arrival at the various stations.
The numbers returning to the respective areas are: Featherston 5, Martinborough 9, Pirinoa 1, Grey town 5, Carterton 6, Masterton 43, Gladstone 1, Mauriceville 2, Eketahuna 5, Alfredton 1, Pahiatua 11, Pongaroa 1, Mangatainoka 1, Makomako 1, Marima 1.
