BOND WAGON

WELCOMED ON RETURN TO WELLINGTON. AFTER HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL TOUR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. One of the final acts in the Liberty Loan campaign in Wellington was played at noon today when the Mayor, Mr T. C. A. Hislop, officially welcomed back from its North Island tour the Bond Wagon, which was instrumental in raising more than £200,000 for the loan in under a month and visited 40 towns and gave 44 entertainments. Cheers were given for the personnel and organisers. The Wagon was met by the United States Marine Corps Band and played to Liberty Corner.
