TEN JAPANESE SHIPS
SUNK BY AMERICAN SUBMARINES . FOUR OTHERS DAMAGED. DURING RECENT OPERATIONS IN PACIFIC. LONDON, July 8. Washington announces that United States submarines have sunk ten Japanese ships and damaged four ethers during recent operations in the Pacific and Far Eastern waters. The ships sunk include two transports, five cargo ships and two tankers. These losses have not previously been announced.
