BORDER TOWN
TAKEN BY CHINESE IN YUNNAN. JAPANESE RETREAT WESTWARD. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) CHUNGKING, July 8. A Chinese communique reports that Chinese troops have driven the Japanese from Mengting, a border town in Yunnan Province, causing a general enemy retreat westward.
