Mrs N. H. James, Pownall Street, Masterton, is visiting Auckland. Mrs Gordon Grylls, Wellington, spent the weekend in Masterton. Mrs Ormond Cooper, Wellington, has been spending a few days in Masterton. Mrs H. R. W. Beetham, Kourarau, has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs Sievers, who has been the guest of Mrs H. M. A. Major, Pownall Street, Masterton, has returned to Auckland. Mrs J. D. Allan, Gordon Street, Masterton, has received a cablegram from her son, Gunner J. Allan, who is serving with the New Zealand'forces in the Middle East, stating that he is safe and well.
