AIRMAN KILLED
HEAD-ON COLLISION WITH' MOTOR CAR. FATALITY AT BELL BLOCK. ■ (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 27. A leading aircraftman of the R.N.Z.A.F. was killed when the motor cycle he was riding collided head-on with a car at Bell Block at about midday on Saturday. The victim was Peter John Clarke, aged 24, single, whose parents live at Te Araroa. He received severe head injuries, and died immediately.
