DRUIDS’ LODGE
BUSINESS AT FORTNIGHTLY MEETING.
£lOO SUBSCRIBED TO LIBERTY LOAN.
There was a good attendance of members of the Masterton Druids’ Lodge at the last fortnightly meeting, when P.D.P. Bro. F. Hartmann presided in the absence of A.D. Sister L. E. Corlet.
D.P. Bro. W. Fryer (Carterton), accompanied by several P.D.P’s., were in attendance. The installation of officers for the half-year was carried out by D.P. Bro. Fryer, who was congratulated on the able manner in which he discharged his duties. Favourable reports were., received on sick brethren of the lodge and accounts for £l9 Is Id were passed.
It was unanimously decided to subscribe £lOO to the Third Liberty Loan.
Very satisfactory reports were given by the lodge delegate, Bro. W. R. Pawson, on the operations of the U.F.S. dispensary for the previous month.
Seven officers and members attended the Carterton Druids’ Lodge installation the previous week and were given a cordial welcome.
