MAORI CONCERT PARTY BRIGHT AND INTERESTING PROGRAMME. • (“Times-Age” Special.) A Maori concert party from Te Ore Ore presented a bright and interesting concert programme before a large audience at the Mauriceville Hall on Saturday night. The Maori party gave poi dances, action songs and hakas, and also provided supper. Mr I. D. Cameron expressed appreciation of the splendid programme presented, and said the proceeds would be to assist, a worthy cause, the Maori Battalion Soldiers’ Parcel Fund. Dancing followed, an extra being played by Miss Grant. Mi’ Baine auctioned cakes, etc., left over from supper. Personal. Sergeant Donald Cameron is staying with his parents, Mr and Mrs I. D. Cameron, “Snowden.”
