The Otago Farmers’ Co-operative Association report that at their rabbitskin sale at Dunedin this week operations generally opened quietly, as buyers had already adjusted theii prices to meet the levy of 20 per cent which came into force at this sale. Apart from this levy it was soon evident that the values were on a lower level as compared with last sale, this being more pronounced in regard to autumn and early caught skins. In the winter grades, bucks were easier, while the demand for does was good and prices were a shade firmer. There was a decline in summers and low grade skins from 2d to 9d; autumns from 3d to 16d; incomings and early winters from 2d to lOd; winter bucks from 2d to 4d, while does advanced from 2d to 4d.
