HOMING PIGEONS

MASTERTON CLUB. YOUNG BIRD SHOW. The following are the results of a pigeon show conducted by the Masterton Homing Pigeon Club, the judge being Mr W. Miller: — Yearling cock birds: Grant and Forrester 1, Stewart and Sons 2, A. Pinkney 3, Stewart and Sons V.H.C., A. Pinkney H.C., Grant and Forrester H.C. Coloured birds: N. Gardiner 1, I. Mayes 2, A. Pinkney 3, A. Pinkney V.H.C., A. Pinkney H.C., Grant and Forrester C. Best bird in show: Grant and Forrester. The competition was very keen and the judge found much difficulty in making his awards. The next show will be held fqr yearling hens and old cock birds.
