TABLE TENNIS ANNUAL MEETING OF CLUB. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the annual meeting of the Eketa- ' huna Table Tennis Club the election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr G. Gaspers; president, Mr G. H. Searancke; vice-presidents, Messrs Wilkie, Anderson, V. Capes, E. McAnulty and A. J, Perry; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. E. Whitton; club captain, Mr K. Doney; handicapper, Mr G. H. Searancke; committee, Messrs I. Waterreus, J. Perry, J. I. Gallagher, M. McGlashon, R. Capes, P. McAnulty and J, Nagel.
Personal Items. Mrs P. Fauvel, Alfredton Road, who has been on a visit to Napier, has returned home. Privates F. Herbert and R. Finney are spending furlough in the district. Mrs C. Reardon, Parkville, has been on a visit to Palmerston North. Mr Dinnan, formerly Town Clerk at Eketahuna, who spent a few days here, has returned to Gisborne. Mrs Henson, Mrs Braddick and Miss Rose Braddick have returned home after having spent a holiday in Napier. Private Phil Henson is spending leave at Kaipororo. Mr and Mrs S. Davis, Atea. who spent a holiday at Lower Hutt, have returned home.
