IHURAUA

SEWING GUILD PATRIOTIC ACTIVITIES. (“Times-Age” Special.) A meeting of the Ihuraua ladies’ patriotic sewing guild was held at the home of Mrs C. Pi. Judd, when Mrs Dagg presided over a fair attendance. Nine parcels were packed for despatch overseas. A trophy given by Mrs R. Dagg was won by Miss Betty Dagg. At a meeting held at the home of Mrs C. M. Meredith eleven parcels were packed. Trophies donated by Mrs S. Anderson and Miss P. Bennett were won by Mrs E. Dagg. Donations were received from Mesdames M. Berney, W. Cheetham, A. E. Clarke, R. A. Cameron, A. Forsberg and P. Pickering.
