PERMISSION SOUGHT TO RETAIN HOME. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. An echo of recent court proceedings was heard when a petition was presented to the House by Mr Chapman on behalf of Nellie Maria Kane, of Wellington, for the intervention of Parliament to prevent her being ejected from her home until she could get another suitable one.
