ESCAPE CELEBRATED
SURVIVORS FROM ITALIAN SUBMARINE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 9. Within two hours of being taken prisoner by a- British destroyer, the survivors from the Italian submarine Trintone borrowed a piano-accordion and held a sing-song. The submarine, which was newly built and on its first patrol in the Mediterranean, was forced to the surface by depth charges and sank after being shelled by destroyers.
