YOUNG BIRD SHOW HELD BY MASTERTON CLUB. AN EXCELLENT DISPLAY. The following are the results of a pigeon show conducted by the Master - ton Homing Pigeon Club, the judge being Mr W. Drury: — . Young cock birds which have flown over 85 miles: Grant and Forrester 1, I. Mayes 2, Miss A. Miller 3, Stewart and Sons v.h.c., N. Gardner h.c., A. Pinkney Young hen birds which have flown over 85 miles: J. Tilyard 1, W. Miller 2, Stewart and Sons 3, A. Pinkney v.h.c., Stewart and Sons h.c., Grant and Forrester c. The birds made an excellent display, and the breeding qualities were favourably commented upon by the. judge, who found difficulty m making' his awards, the competition being very The next show will be held for yearling cock birds.
