THREE JUNKERS
SHOT DOWN BY FLYING-BOAT. DURING BAY OF BISCAY PATROL. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.0 a.m.) RUGBY, June 3. The Air Ministry states that an Australian Sunderland flying-boat, on antisubmarine patrol in the Bay of Biscay, shot down three of eight Junkers 88s which attacked it.
ENEMY REPORT GENERAL MONTGOMERY AT GIBRALTAR. LONDON, June 3. The German news agency says that the commander of the Eighth Army, General Montgomery, has arrived at Gibraltar.
