GREYTOWN
TRIBAL COMMITTEE EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. (“Times-Age” Special.) A very enjoyable euchre party and dance was held in the Town Hall last night by the Papawai-Greytown Tribal Committee, there being a large attendance. The euchre prizes were won as follows:—Ladies: Mrs B. McHardy, 1; Miss G. Lyster, 2. Men: Mr G. Lyster, 1; Mrs W. Flood, 2. Consolation prizes: Mrs W. Woodley and Master Woodley. The Andrews —Morris Orchestra supplied the music.
GOLF LADIES’ CLUB. The draw for the first round for the challenge cup to be played by the ladies at Greytown on Saturday is as follows: —Mrs Jury v. Mrs Gold; Miss E. Gregor v. Miss M. Collier; Miss M. Quin v. Miss B. Gregor; Miss Oxford v. Miss Askew; Miss G. Reid v. Miss B. Burch; Miss M. Wood v.'another. Those unable to play are asked to ring phone 63. A mixed foursome will be played on Monday, commencing at 1.15 p.m. sharp.
TOWN HALL DOUBLE FEATURE BILL. At the Town Hall tonight there will be shown -Destination Unknown,” a thrilling drama starring W. Gargan and Irene Hervey, and “Smashing the Money Ring,” an exciting drama with Ronald Reagan and Margaret Stevenson in the chief roles.
