WAIRARAPA CLUB. MEETING AT AKURA PLUMPTON. The following are the officials in connection with the meeting to be held by the Wairarapa Coursing Club at the Akura Plumpton on Sunday, commencing at 1.45 p.m.: —Judge, Mr W. L. Jensen; slipper, Mr R. McEwen; slip steward, Mr R. Harman; hare slippers, Messrs J. Hanley, C. Lusty, T. Buick; marshal, Mr J. H. Payton; call steward, Mr S. D. Geary. Dogs from Auckland, Napier and Hastings, as well as local dogs, will compete. The draw for the three events is as follows: — Open Stake (Physick Cup): Spiteful Nell meets Tamatete, Kittyhawk meets Gay Crest, Michael meets Back Loop Slam, Aberdeen meets Bonny Glenshea, Royal Step meets China’s Hope, Southern Cross meets Hats Off, Just Bet meets The Gunner. N.Z. Derby: Kagal Boy meets Handy, The Panther a bye. N.Z. Oaks: Harlequin meets Blue Tiger.
