RECOGNITION OF RUSSIA
DECIDED ON BY EGYPTIAN GOVERNMENT.
FORMATION OF LEGATION STAFF FOR MOSCOW.
(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.)' LONDON, May 31.
The Egyptian Government has decided to recognise the Soviet Union. Reuter's Cairo correspondent says the Egyptian Government has empowered its Foreign Minister to take steps to re-establish diplomatic and economic relations between Egypt and Russia on the basis of non-intervention by either country in the affairs of the other and also of Russia's abstention from Government action tending to encourage propaganda against Egypt’s form of government. Tho Premier, Nahas Pasha, has instructed the Foreign Minister to form a Legation staff for Moscow.
