GOLF TOURNEY

MASTERTON CLUB’S ANNUAL FIXTURE. PLAY DURING NEXT WEEKEND. The Masterton Golf Club’s annual tournament takes place during the coming weekend, commencing with the qualifying round on Saturday afternoon. The sixteen lowest gross scores will qualify for the championship and the remainder of the competitors will be graded into groups of 16 to play for the handicap events. During the tournament separate competitions will be played each day and any player may enter for these events. Post entries will be received for all events.

The course is in excellent order and players will be assured of a good weekend's golf. In Saturday’s men’s competition H. E. Pither returned a card of 2 up.
