AGAIN IN CUSTODY
I.R.A. COMMANDANT JAMES STEELE. RECAPTURED IN BELFAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, May 29. .The I.R.A. commandant, James Steele, who with McAteer and two others escaped from a Belfast prison, was recaptured in Belfast last night. A strong force of police is on duty in the Belfast Police Court. Armed police surrounded the dock when Steele faced two charges in connection with . possession of a revolver and ammunition. He was remanded till June 15.
