MAY BE RUNG AGAIN IN BRITAIN. MINISTER’S ANNOUNCEMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, May 27. Restrictions on the use of church bells have been removed. Church bells may be rung for any purpose at any time, provided they are not liable to bo mistaken for an air raid or gas attack signal. The Home Secretary (Mr H. Morrison) announced this Government decision in the House of Commons, but said the Government must be free to review the position in light of changed circumstances.
