MASTERTON SALE

The Associated Auctioneers held their weekly Masterton sale yesterday to an average attendance. In spite of the inclement weather conditions, most sections showed a firming tendency. Fat ewes, however, were easier owing to an increased yarding. A few dairy cows were offered, which sold at satisfactory prices. .The following realisations will serve to indicate values: — Fat sheep—Fat wethers, 2Gs lOd, 255, 24s 4d; lighter sorts, 22s Id, 225, 21s 3d; fat Down ewes, 17s; fat ewes, 16s, 15s 2d, 15s, 14s 3d to 14s; fat lambs, 235.'
